NBC has announced that Tony nominated actress Chita Rivera will be a guest on THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON on Thursday, June 4th.

Musical theatre star Betty Buckley recently spent time backstage at THE VISIT with Chita Rivera. In an Instagram post, Buckley wrote, 'Backstage at 'The Visit'with the incredible Broadway Star, Ms. Chita Rivera! My eyes are red from crying at the beauty of this special piece of Art & theater, centered around the extraordinary performance by beloved Chita! Amazing! She touched my heart & soul so deeply! BroadwayWorld has learned that Roger Rees is currently on leave from The Visit, and in his place, Tom Nelis is temporarily stepping in as Anton Schell. No word yet on the duration of the hiatus. Of note, the star has also been swapped out for Nelis on the show's official web site. Yesterday evening, a couple that has been together for 33 years married in the best way theatregoers could hope to do: backstage at THE VISIT on Broadway.

It was announced today that The Visit, which will open tonight, Thursday, April 23rd as the final musical of the 2014-2015 Broadway season, will record its cast album. The Visit is the final musical ever written by legendary Oscar Award®, Grammy Award® and Tony Award®-winning composer John Kander and his writing partner lyricist Fred Ebb, before Mr. Ebb passed away.

A rush policy was announced today for the new Broadway musical The Visit, for students to witness legends doing what made them legendary in this momentous event that is history in the making. Rush tickets are $29.

Dame Hilary Mantel, the double Man Booker Prize winner for her acclaimed novels Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies, as well as the author of the Broadway production Wolf Hall: Parts 1 & 2, is thrilled to say she will be signing books at the Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway, between 50th and 51st Streets) prior to each performance and at intermission, April 1-10.
