Step back in time to Victorian London with Tiny Tim and Ebenezer Scrooge at Meadow Brook Theatre's annual production of A Christmas Carol. With an enduring message of generosity and friendship A Christmas Carol has become a beloved tradition for local audiences as well as the company of Meadow Brook Theatre.

The All Night Strut! takes audiences down memory lane with songs from the Great Depression through the post-World War II boom years. With familiar tunes like "As Time Goes By," "Ain't Misbehavin'" and "Chattanooga Choo Choo" everyone will be tapping their toes as they explore this musical time capsule.

Set in 1917, The Snow Geese follows the Gaesling family to their annual shooting party to kick off the hunting season in upstate New York. As war looms and family secrets are revealed, they try to cling to normalcy.

Like Andy Warhol, another well-known, towheaded, Avant Garde artist who pushed the boundaries of his art form, Klaus Kinski was one of the most celebrated and controversial actors in the history of world cinema. The reckless abandon with which he approached both life and art left him tortured, demonized and worshiped by scores of his fans. And since the German actor died in November 1991, there is no way to speak with him now about what motivated him and why he felt so tortured throughout his life. The project first germinated when writer/actor Andrew Perez lined up interviews with Phyllis Winter (a very close friend during the last 10 years of Kinski's life in Lagunitas, CA) and her daughter Sara to learn more about the temperamental artist. He then worked hand in hand with director Eric G. Johnson to interview the two women which led to the creation of a theatrical tribute to the outspoken artist entitled THE SECOND COMING OF KLAUS KINSKI, a hit at the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival which is now enjoying an open-ended encore run on Thursday nights at Studio C on Hollywood's Theatre Row.

'The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin,' written by Steven Levenson, runs March 15 through April 9, at Meadow Brook Theatre on the campus of Oakland University in Rochester.

The New York African American Business Leaders Fund, in partnership with Google, is providing more than 4,000 free tickets to the Oscar-nominated movie Hidden Figures for students in Chicago and San Francisco. This is an extension of a program, which has already provided 25,000 New York students with free screenings of the movie.
