Swing Into Spring With THE ALL NIGHT STRUT ImageThe All Night Strut! takes audiences down memory lane with songs from the Great Depression through the post-World War II boom years. With familiar tunes like "As Time Goes By," "Ain't Misbehavin'" and "Chattanooga Choo Choo" everyone will be tapping their toes as they explore this musical time capsule.

The All Night Strut! was conceived and originally directed and choreographed by Fran Charnas. It runs April 25 through May 20 at Meadow Brook Theater on the campus of Oakland University in Rochester.

"A lot of people already know The All Night Strut!," says MBT Artistic Director Travis Walter. "It's music they love from the '30s and '40s, including a medley of popular songs from World War II. The singers and dancers are going to wow everyone."

Many actors are making their MBT debuts in The All Night Strut!, including Larissa Klinger (Soprano), Gabrielle Lee (Alto), Jeremy Benton (Tenor) and Christopher George Patterson (Baritone).

The All Night Strut! is directed by Travis W. Walter, with choreography by Christopher George Patterson and music direction by David Caldwell. Terry W. Carpenter is the stage manager with scenic design by Jen Price Fick assisted by Krystal Smoger, costume design by Karen Kanga-Preston, light design by Reid G. Johnson and sound design by Mike Duncan.

David Caldwell leads the band and plays piano. The rest of the band is comprised of Don Platter (reeds), John Hartwick (trumpet), Alex Blue V (trombone), Ryan Crum (bass) and Nick Matthews (percussion).
