San José Chamber Orchestra (SJCO) has announced its upcoming season, with most of their concerts being held in the beautifully renovated performance space at St. Francis Episcopal Church in San José's Willow Glen neighborhood.

National Philharmonic has announced its 2022-2023 season, which includes eight classical programs conducted by Music Director Piotr Gajewski and two by Chorale Artistic Director Stan Engebretson; two pops shows led by Principal Pops Conductor Luke Frazier; and a piano recital.

Diablo Ballet will celebrate its 28th Anniversary with a one-night only performance at the Lesher Center for the Arts.  Featured on the program is the company premiere of Penny Saunders' Sur le Fil which premiered with Tulsa Ballet 2 in 2018. 

Performer Jackie Draper will present an encore performance of her critically well-received show, Spreadin' Rhythm Around, on Sunday, March 6 at 4 PM at the Laurie Beechman Theatre.

Carnegie Hall announced today that the recital by pianist Yefim Bronfman originally planned for Friday, February 18 has been rescheduled for Monday, April 18 at 8:00PM due to changes in Mr. Bronfman's touring schedule. The concert program for the February 18 performance—including piano sonatas by Beethoven, Chopin, and Ustvolskaya—will remain as originally announced.

Pianist Jenny Lin will perform Glass Reflections, The Music of Phillip Glass and others, including Ligeti, Busoni and Schubert at the Morris Museum's Bickford Theatre, Sunday, November 14, 2021, 2 PM.

On October 10, pianist Jeffrey Siegel officially relaunches indoor Hylton Presents performances in Merchant Hall with his concerts with commentary Keyboard Conversations Classics Declassified. Siegel hands off the baton to the Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra on October 30 for their Big Band Era performance Swingin' with the Met.

Orchid Classics today released Chopin: In My Voice, the debut album of 2020 National Chopin Piano Competition top prize-winner Chelsea Guo. Chopin: In My Voice celebrates Guo’s rare dual gifts, performing simultaneously as a pianist and soprano, in works that show all facets of Frédéric Chopin’s compositional style.

On Sunday July 11, the day begins at 10am with FREE musical activities for preschoolers taking place outdoors on the lawn, helping them to learn the building blocks of music.

The “champagne” is on ice, the Umqombothi is being brewed and the boeber is being cooked, as Artscape gears up to celebrate the golden jubilee of the building on Wednesday, 19 May.
