The 2017/18 Birmingham Royal Ballet season finishes at The Bristol Hippodrome with the funny and tender La Fille mal gardee. This charming ballet was an instant hit when it was created by Frederick Ashton for the Royal Ballet in 1960. Inspired by Ashton's love of the English countryside, La Fille mal gardee includes some of his most virtuoso, energetic choreography as well as elements of traditional folk dancing.

The Massachusetts-based American conductor Kevin Rhodes will return to the Vienna State Opera Ballet for his 23rd season, after conducting the season finales of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra in Massachusetts, and the Traverse Symphony Orchestra in Michigan,where he serves as Music Director and Conductor, and the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra in Boston, where he is Principal Conductor.

Boston Ballet presents the coming-of-age fairytale The Sleeping Beauty by Marius Petipa with additional choreography by Sir Frederick Ashton. Hailed as one of the Company's trademark works, this quintessential production features soaring music by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky and sumptuous sets and costumes by Emmy Award-winning designer David Walker. The Sleeping Beauty runs May 11–19, 2018, at the Boston Opera House.

De Funes Dance is thrilled to share its newest full-length program, INTERIOR DIALOGUES. This trio of works includes two world premieres, 'Fragments,' and 'V.,' and an encore presentation of 'Crisalida'. The writings of Friedrich Nietzsche in 'Fragments,' and Virginia Woolf in 'V,' and the music of Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla in 'Crisalida,' combine with the literature of our own personal histories to reveal the interior language of our minds. INTERIOR DIALOGUES is conceived and choreographed by Diego Funes in collaboration with the dancers.

New York Theatre Ballet will return to Tarboro, North Carolina on March 22, 2018 at 7:30pm to perform in the Edgecombe Community College Performing Arts Series, bringing a program of mixed repertoire. NYTB has performed in the series annually for the past five years.
