The Robert E. and Jean Ann Titus Art Song Recital Series will feature the magnetic tenor, Michael Fabiano, in an exclusive recital produced by The Dallas Opera. The performance will take place on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Dallas City Performance Hall (a 749-seat venue located at 2520 Flora Street-across the street from the Winspear Opera House-in the Arts District, Dallas, TX 75201).

Fresh off her debut at London's Royal Opera House and just before her Met debut, Daniela Mack joins Florida Grand Opera's (FGO) cast of George's Bizet's Carmen. Ms. Mack will perform the title role from December 1 through December 3, 2016 at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

The Oratorio Society of New York fulfills its role as New York's champion of the grand choral tradition with the opening program of its 2016-17 season:  Mozart's "Great" Mass in C Minor, written to celebrate the composer's marriage, and Bruckner's Te Deum, a gem of a 19th-century choral masterwork that Bruckner called "the pride of my life."

Mannes School of Music presents two performances of Kaija Saariaho's cornerstone oratorio La Passion de Simone. This "musical path in 15 stations" is a major work crafted by composer Kaija Saariaho and writer Amin Maalouf, and is a contemporary Passion play on the 'luminous trajectory' of philosopher and activist Simone Weil, who devoted her life to the oppressed and met an untimely death in 1943.

Soprano Heidi Grant Murphy, who sang major roles with the Metropolitan Opera for almost 25 years, returns to theChamber Music Society of Detroit series for a recital with pianist Kevin Murphy Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 3:00 PM.  The concert takes place at Oakland University's Varner Recital Hall, located on the Oakland University campus at 2200 N. MasterVoices (formerly The Collegiate Chorale) will celebrate its 75th anniversary during the 2016-2017 season, beginning with the New York premiere of Ricky Ian Gordon and Royce Vavrek's 27, specially adapted for MasterVoices, on October 20 and 21, 2016 at 8pm at New York City Center, 131 W. 55th Street, New York City.

Dark forests, woodland sprites and an evil witch, 'Jezibaba' come to the Arizona Opera stage as the company presents its first ever production of Dvo?ak's Rusalka.  The story follows the classic Hans Christian Andersen fairytale 'Little Mermaid' with dramatic flair as the mermaid Rusalka seeks to be part of the human world.  This new production will be set in the Habsburg Empire of the 1800s and features the show-stopping aria, 'Song to the Moon'.  Rusalka is sung in Czech with English supertitles.
