Artistic Director Mark Yonally and Chicago Tap Theatre (CTT) present Tapped for the Very First Time at the Athenaeum Theatre, 2936 N. Southport Ave.,  Saturday, June 23 and Friday, June 29 at 7:30 p.m.

Starting tonight and for five shows only, you'll get the chance to revisit your favorite Queen hits, and probably discover a few you've never heard before, at DON'T STOP ME NOW: THE FREDDIE MERCURY EXPERIENCE, a one-woman show by local actor, singer, and cabaret performer Courtney Freed.

"Killer Queen," "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Another One Bites The Dust," and "We Are The Champions" -- these are just a few of the monster Queen hits you will hear during One Night of Queen, a tribute to one of the greatest rock bands ever!  This high energy reincarnation and celebration of the music of Queen, complete with over-the-top staging, lighting, costume changes and effects is brought to life by Gary Mullen & The Works. See One Night of Queen at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Friday, April 6th at 8pm, part of the Pepsi Rock Series Powered by Xfinity.

This March, the Chi Phil Chamber Players give pop hits a classical twist in Kings, Queens and Rebels. With arrangements by Chicago Philharmonic member Benton Wedge, this concert invites audiences to join Westeros royalty with the Game of Thrones theme, Star Wars rebels with the ominous Imperial March, and the game show king Slumdog Millionaire in Jai Ho (made famous by the Pussycat Dolls).

After ten years playing and singing for the international creme de la creme at the Steinways of London's 5-star venues and exclusive clubs, Cat Simoni is back home and delighted to be entertaining Cape Town audiences on Sunday nights in the intimate setting of the Alexander Bar. She'll be joined by different friends each gig, this week starting with the multi-talented songwriter and voice artist Alan Glass.

The TEN Tenors, one of Australia's most illustrious exports, come to Folsom in a celebration of musical legends lost before their time. In this heartfelt tribute, entitled Wish You Were Here, Australia's "vocal wonder from down under" (Broadway World) will take the audience on a feel-good journey through some of the world's greatest hits of all time, including music by David Bowie, Prince, Amy Winehouse, John Lennon, Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury, Whitney Houston and more. On tour across America, It's a fitting 20th Anniversary for an ensemble which has played before 90 million people worldwide.

Freddie Mercury is arguably one of the most talented vocalists of the 21st century. Courtney Freed's one-woman show Don't Stop Me Now highlights his incredible range and dynamic stage presence through vocal driven jazz arrangements. Freed also brings to light the life experiences that shaped his talent and ultimately led to his untimely AIDS related death in 1991. Don't Stop Me Now is not simply a concert of Freddie Mercury's music, but rather an homage paid to Mercury through the art of cabaret storytelling and a fresh musical take on his most beloved songs.

Tony Nominee Jarrod Spector graces Pepperdine University's Smothers Theatre with his biographical show Jukebox Life at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7 at the Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts.
