Performances of WONDERLAND - A New Alice. A New Musical begin tonight, Wednesday, January 5 at 7:30pm at The David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts (Judy Lisi, President and CEO) in Tampa, Florida where it will run through January 16, 2011.

The marquee is now on its way up at the Marquis Theatre on Broadway and we've got the first photos!

According to TampaBay.com, Composer Frank Wildhorn got the idea for WONDERLAND when he and his then-wife, Linda Eder, lived on the 38th floor of a building on Riverside Drive in Manhattan.

Broadway singer/actress Janet Dacal will perform the National Anthem at this years Outback Bowl, officials announced today. Dacal is currently playing the role of Alice in Frank Wildhorn's WONDERLAND, coming to Broadway in the Spring of 2011. WONDERLAND will hold its pre-Broadway engagement at the Straz Center Jan. 4-16, 2011.

The stars were out for Sarasota and fans of Bonnie & Clyde who filled Asolo Rep's Mertz Theatre Tuesday night to attend- An Intimate Evening with Frank Wildhorn & Friends. The starry concert featured musical theatre legend and Bonnie & Clyde composer Frank Wildhorn, and starred Rob Evan and Laura Osnes, with Marlyn Sanchez, and Jack Murphy; who performed songs from Jekyll & Hyde, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Wonderland, Bonnie & Clyde and more. Bassist Gregg Voorhees accompanied.

Asolo Repertory Theatre today announced further details and pricing for special concert, An Intimate Evening with Frank Wildhorn & Friends. Asolo Repertory Theatre today announced adding a new title to its Asolo Rep Extras series, An Intimate Evening with Frank Wildhorn & Friends. The starry concert features composer Frank Wildhorn at the piano along with some of Broadway's finest voices. Further details will be announced soon. The show, to be held on December 21st at 8 p.m. in the Mertz Theatre, replaces the Holiday concert originally scheduled. Details and prices will soon be released latter this month. Junsu, a member of JYJ, the South Korean pop group, has been cast for a leading role in the Broadway musical, TEARS OF HEAVEN.

Stephen Sorokoff captured Broadway and cabaret star, Karen Mason, as she shared her golden voice for her Annual Christmas Show at Iridium, presented by ScoBar Entertainment. Mason starred on Broadway in Sunset Boulevard, Mama Mia, Hairspray & Torch Song Trilogy & will portray the Queen of Hearts in Frank Wildhorn's upcoming Broadway-bound, Wonderland. She is a ten-time MAC Award winner for Major Female Vocalist, the 2006 Nightlife Award winner for Major Female Vocalist & three-time Back Stage Bistro Award winner.
