Arkells unleash their brand new single, “People's Champ” today via Last Gang Records. On the heels of their meteoric hit single, “Knocking at the Door,” “People's Champ” is the first single to be announced off the upcoming fifth studio album from Arkells, set for release later this year.
For the sixth consecutive year, 88.5 FM will host SXSW Radio Day Stage performances at the annual SXSW Music Festival with sets from Field Report, Mt. Joy, Courtney Marie Andrews, Frank Turner, Kyle Craft, and Gordi. Set for Thursday, March 15 at theAustin Convention Center in Ballroom D, the live performancesare open to all SXSW badge holders and will be broadcast live on the air at 88.5 FM and at 885fm.org. Field Report will kick off more than six hours of live music beginning at12 Noon (CT)/10:00 AM (PT), with Gordi wrapping the day with a 5:00 PM performance.
