As the city hosts the Summer of Love, there's certainly plenty to love at The Epstein Theatre this summer as the historical venue hosts yet another sizzling season of sensational shows for everyone to enjoy!

The Solomon R. San Diego Repertory Theatre (San Diego REP) has announced the return of the highly acclaimed and widely popular holiday show, "Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin." The newly announced show, a holiday offering during the downtown theatre's 42nd season, features songs by Irving Berlin and a book by Hershey Felder, with direction from longtime Felder collaborator Trevor Hay. The show's run begins on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 and plays through Sunday, January 7, 2018 with a press opening on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 8 p.m. on the Lyceum Stage Theatre at San Diego REP in Horton Plaza.

Chazz, or 'C' as his friends called him in The Bronx told some great stories to his fellow Friars in the Frank Sinatra Room last night. It was after an Italian  Buffet Feast in the Milton Berle and Barbra Streisand Rooms at the 'Monastery' on 55th street that Chazz explained that he was doing nothing different then what he used to do as a youngster in The Bronx.  His friend's would say 'let Chazz tell the story.'

When an icon is as approachable, affable and humble as Ben Vereen is, it is easy to see why he has been so successful. The winner of a Tony Award and Drama Desk Award for his role in Pippin, Vereen is, at the age of 70, showing no signs of slowing down. Luckily for us, he is bringing his energy and talent to our area to perform with the Stockton Symphony on May 6 and 7.

Some of Philadelphia's biggest musical theater stars are teaming up for a one-night only salute to the Great White Way.
