The Artistic Home presents THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE by William Saroyan.

The Artistic Home is very excited to announce the cast and design team of The Time of Your Life by William Saroyan.

Thirst comes in many flavors. Some men thirst for power and the taste is so strong they cannot see or hear reason for the want of it. Some thirst for revenge and the urge is so primal that weapons are soon wet with blood. Others just plain thirst for water, as they live in a time when to drink the water we take for granted is death, though it comes from faucets and rivers and lakes that once were fresh and clean and safe.

Cupid's arrows fly anywhere but straight in French playwright Jean Cocteau's Les Parents Terribles. A raucous romp of love and lust that hits right in the heart of the family, Les Parents Terribles opens March 2, 2014, at The Artistic Home.

TimeLine Theatre will host some of Chicago's top news reporters, each who have been covering the recent Blagojevich trial, for a timely post-show discussion titled Exclusive! Chicago's Top Reporters on The Front Page: Same Story, Different Century. This newly-added special event will be on Sunday, July 10, immediately following the 2 p.m. matinee of TimeLine's hit production of The Front Page, Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur's classic comedy about Windy City politics and journalism in the 1920s.

The Artistic Home is pleased to announce the remount of Juno and the Paycock by Sean O'Casey, the theater's celebrated production from 2008 which will be seen on the Theatre on the Lake stage Wednesday, July 28- Sunday, August 2.

The Artistic Home at 3914 North Clark Street 2008/2009 season consists of three mainstage productions: Look Homeward Angel by Ketti Frings, Modigliani by Dennis McIntyre, and The Latent Heterosexual by Paddy Chayefsky. The Artistic Home Acting Studio will also produce two productions: The Fox by Alan Miller and another production to be announced.

City Lit's first venture into the world of the Bard is a gorgeously produced, pioneering undertaking for the almost 30-year old company. Twelfth Night, currently playing at the theatre's historic Edgewater Presbyterian Church location, has the tendency to get a bit long-winded at times but overall the production offers energized actors, beautiful scenery and lighting and a dream-like telling of Shakespeare's classic.
