Teatro Paraguas will present Coyote Acid, a one-act play by Santa Fe-based poet John Macker. Rounding out the evening is a reading by actors of Out of The Light: Poems from Prison, a collection of poems chosen by John Macker by renowned poets from around the world written from or about prison.

Beyond her own work, Torrisi has contributed and played with a number of artists and bands whose ranks include Ariel Pink, Dev Hynes and Sufjan Stevens. Her accomplishments extend to being the 'Dear Abby'of the indie rock world by way of a long-running advice column called 'Advice from Paradise.' In the past The New York Times has said Torrisi has 'a guileless voice, an instrument of earnest pleasure and petition,' and Stereogum has noted her music has '80s synths that imply carefree pop, but Torrisi's gorgeous, layered vocals add depth that the '80s themselves never achieved.'

A Staged Reading of Loss written and directed by Deloss Brown with music composed by Bob Trien (BMI Musical Theater Workshop), Henry Purcell and Sir Arthur Sullivan and words by Deloss Brown as well as poets, playwrights and lyricists throughout the ages will have three performances at Shetler Studios taking place on March 6, 7 and 8 beginning at 7PM. The cast features Tara Frederickson* (Metropolitan Opera, Classic Stage Company), James Plante* and Jessica Eleanor Grant* (New York Shakespeare Company). *(member of Actors Equity)
