Michael Rader, Producing Artistic Director of The Cape Playhouse, today announced the 2018 summer line-up for the historic Playhouse's 92nd season.

The Andy Karl and Groundhog Day portrait is the newest addition to Tony Di Napoli prestigious Broadway Wall of Fame. BroadwayWorld was on hand when the portrait was unveiled and you can check out photos from the special occasion below!

Beloved film and television actor Wallace Shawn has signed on to for a guest-starring role in Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino's upcoming Amazon Original Series THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL. Shawn will play Herb Smith, a self-proclaimed comedy writer who 'shapes acts, writes jokes, and eats pastrami.'

The six-play schedule will feature three plays and three musicals-including three Playhouse premieres-in a season featuring Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning shows and the New England premiere of an exciting new production of the classic movie Clue. 

Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater is proud to present six nights of engaging film August 29 - September 13, at the theater's first Am HaYam Jewish Film Festival.

The story of family secrets is written by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, 2016 MacArthur Genius Grant Recipient, and directed by David Kennedy, Playhouse associate artistic director. I've always been a fan of satire and cheesy comedy, but the Broadway smash 'Something Rotten' by Karey and Wayne Kirkpatrick took this art form to a whole new level. The show is currently on tour, and made a stop in Las Vegas's beautiful Smith Center. I was lucky enough to get tickets and experience this musical masterpiece.

Director Stan Zimmerman has found his quartet of actors for the first major revival of Justin Tanner's acclaimed comedy play, Heartbreak Help.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre will welcome the "Sunday Morning Fever" this fall when its production of the Heavenly musical comedy Sister Act takes to the stage beginning September 8th.
