CDP: Collaborative, Development, & Production is thrilled to announce its 5 Year Anniversary Concert at Joe's Pub! Come Celebrate 5 years of new musicals in this concert of songs highlighting 14 shows that have been developed through CDP in collaboration with NYU's Tisch Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program and Undergraduate Drama.  Come see an eclectic evening of madness, missing parents, and mosquitos featuring current and alumni actors from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. 

JAHN SOOD AND ALL THE BROKEN PARTS will be performing at 9:30pm on Monday September 9th at the historic Metropolitan Room (34 W 22nd St. New York, NY 10010).

In celebration of Asian Heritage month, the Equal Employment Opportunity Committee of Actors' Equity Association and ReImagined World Entertainment presented 'The Asian American Composers and Lyricists Project,' a free evening of original works created and sung by Asian American theatre artists. THEATERSPEAK will present an installation of more than 70 award-winning and emerging playwrights writing new plays in the storefront window of the Drama Book Shop during store hours, August 13th - September 1st, In each two-hour time slot, a different playwright will write their play on a laptop, while the screen shot of their computer is visible to the street, opening their process up to the passerby on the street. Rainbow Valley, a musical adaptation of the seventh book in L. M. Montgomery's beloved 'Anne of Green Gables' series, will have a staged reading of Act One on May 19 at 6:30pm as part of Emerging Artists Theatre's 7th Annual New Works Series.

BD Wong (PACIFC OVERTURES, YOU'RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN) and composer Adam Gwon (ORDINARY DAYS) will headline 'FAMILY CIRCLE: A CELEBRATION OF ASIAN AMERICAN THEATRE ARTISTS TO BENEFIT THE COALITON FOR ASIAN AMERICAN CHILDREN AND FAMILIES(CACF)' at the Daryl Roth Theatre's D-Lounge Cabaret, Monday, October 4th at 8pm.
