The unique new website for the new Broadway musical A Catered Affair celebrated a launch event on Wednesday, February 6 at 1PM at Sky360° by Delta, Delta Air Lines' experiential pop-up lounge in Manhattan (101 West 57th Street at 6th Avenue). Fans had the opportunity to meet author and star Harvey Fierstein and enjoy Cupcake Café's brand new, signature 'A Catered Affair Wedding Cupcake.' A pair of tickets for this eagerly anticipated Broadway musical were raffled-off to 5 lucky attendees, before they are on sale to the general public.

The creators of A Catered Affair, the new Broadway-bound musical about a 1953 Bronx wedding, are inviting everyone to share their own personal wedding stories, pictures and videos with one another via the show's brand new website. The A Catered Affair Online Wedding Album at www.ACateredAffairOnBroadway.com will be a living, interactive album of stories and snapshots from people everywhere as well as personal wedding memories from the show's stars and a cross section of celebrated New Yorkers.

The show-art for the up-coming musical A Catered Affair has been revealed! The new show poster features award-winning stars Faith Prince, Tom Wopat and Harvey Fierstein sitting atop a taxi-cab with bride-to-be Leslie Kritzer and groom Matt Cavenaugh.

This season's Broadway production of A Catered Affair, the new musical with book by four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, score by John Bucchino and directed by Tony Award-winner John Doyle will begin preview performances March 25 at the Walter Kerr Theatre

The San Diego Theatre Critics Circle Awards were announced at a West Coast ceremony last night and A Catered Affair, the new musical with book by four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, score by John Bucchino and directed by Tony Award-winner John Doyle, was the big winner with 7 awards, including Outstanding New Musical.

Turner Classic Movies will welcome four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein on Monday, November 26, 2007 for their November 'Guest Programmer Month.' Beginning at 8PM (EST), Fierstein will join host Robert Osborne in conversation about some of his favorite films that TCM will air that evening. First up will be The Catered Affair, the MGM film on which Fierstein's new Broadway-bound musical, A Catered Affair, is partly based.
