Could time travel take you to the past? In a tale both spooky and hilarious, three modern day children in "Sleepy Hollow - A Musical Tale" get a Halloween trick they'll never forget at the old Crane house when they end up in 1790 in New Amsterdam, New York.

Kate Burton to Open Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama's NYC Showcase

With the increasing numbers of UK-trained actors on the major US media channels, the time is right for The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama's (RWCMD) inaugural US Actors Showcase in New York City. It will be held at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theater in the Signature Theater complex on September 26, 2016. The Showcase will be introduced by Emmy and Tony Award nominee Kate Burton, daughter of the great Welsh actor Richard Burton.

Citywide Showcase on Today Celebrates Arts Projects By New York City Youth

Teens from across the city come together in Carnegie Hall's Resnick Education Wing on Today, September 15 at 6:30 p.m. to tell their stories through music, visual art, film, photography, and dance as part of NeON Arts, a program of the NYC Department of Probation (DOP) in partnership with Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute. Launched in spring 2014, NeON Arts integrates arts programming into sevenNeighborhood Opportunity Networks (NeONs) across New York City, helping young people develop creative, social, and emotional skills while building positive peer relationships and enriching their communities through art. This summer, six organizations were selected to lead programming from July-September 2016:

Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn Gets A Theater in the Park for the Summer

August in August' is a brand new annual live performance series teaming Joseph Grant Jr., ambassador of arts and culture for the councilman and theatrical producer Andrea J. Fulton of the Anderson & Bert Cade Fulton Foundation. Joint efforts result in the mounting of August Wilson's Tony nominated Two Trains Running directed by Sabura Rashid as its upcoming offering starting August 26th 2016. The production of 'Two Trains Running' will be featured at Fulton Park in Brooklyn on Aug. 26 from 6 to 9 p.m., and Aug. 27 at Herbert Von King Park from 4 to 7p.m. Both performances are FREE. August in August actually began Aug. 13 with the first installation of the series 'Ma Rainey's Black Bottom performed at Fulton Park in Brooklyn, produced by the Bed-Stuy Theatre Group.
