SHOWTIME announced today that Emmy nominee and Critics Choice Award winner Matt Bomer (The Normal Heart, The Boys in the Band) will star in the limited series FELLOW TRAVELERS, which he will executive produce with Oscar nominee Ron Nyswaner (Philadelphia) and Robbie Rogers (All American, My Policeman).

The series stars Ewan McGregor, reprising his role as the iconic Jedi Master, and also marks the return of Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader. Joining the cast are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie. 

New photographs and a trailer have been released from the rehearsal room of the UK touring production of The Rise and Fall of Little Voice by Jim Cartwright.  The new production opens on 23 March at MAST Mayflower Studios, Southampton and tours until 16 July. 

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present Karen Mason in her show “Kander & Ebb…And All That Jazz” on Monday, March 28 at 7:00 PM. The evening honors John Kander and Fred Ebb, the Tony Award-winning songwriters behind Broadway’s Cabaret, Chicago and more.

The Screen Actors Guild Awards were held Sunday, Feb. 27 at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. The telecast aired on TNT and TBS. Among the big winners for the evening, taking home multiple awards, were CODA, Squid Game and Ted Lasso.

Rehearsals have started this week for the new UK touring production of The Rise and Fall of Little Voice by Jim Cartwright.

Richard Maltby will direct a starry cast of NOBLE FAMILY. The performance is set for March 3, 2022.

The members of Perth Youth Theatre are reclaiming their place on the main Perth Theatre stage for a new production of Chaos by Laura Lomas.

This whimsical, stop-motion musical directed by Guillermo del Toro and Mark Gustafson follows the mischievous and disobedient adventures of Pinocchio in his pursuit of a place in the world. The cast includes Ewan McGregor, David Bradley, and Gregory Mann, Finn Wolfhard, Cate Blanchett, John Turturro, Ron Perlman, Christoph Waltz and Tilda Swinton.

Moulin Rouge! officially opened in London on 20 January at the Piccadilly Theatre. The cast of Moulin Rouge! is led by Liisi LaFontaine and Jamie Bogyo in the roles of Satine and Christian.

Tom Hiddleston is set to reprise his acclaimed appearance as the special guest star in the critically acclaimed production of The Play What I Wrote at Theatre Royal, Bath, the first venue on the show's recently announced national tour. Both performances will be filmed for transmission on the BBC later in 2022.

Following a Christmas season at The Rep, The Play What I Wrote will tour to venues throughout England from 12 January. Starring DENNIS HERDMAN, MITESH SONI, and THOM TUCK, this new production is directed by double Olivier Award winner Sean Foley.

KAREN MASON has announced that the new music video for the song “We Never Ran Out of Love (We Just Ran Out of Time)” is available today, Monday, December 13. The video is edited by Michael Lee Stever. It was the recipient of the 2020 “Jamie deRoy Songwriting Award” from The ASCAP Foundation, given to its songwriter Paul Rolnick.
