ET Online is reporting that DreamWorks Studios is holding an open call for a young male actor for a lead role in upcoming film ‘Real Steel,' starring Hugh Jackman. The role in question is Max, a 'street-smart, tough, charming kid with a hard, untrusting outer shell which hides a warm enthusiastic spirit...a complicated, strong-willed and resourceful boy.' DreamWorks is looking for a 10-14 year old male actor for the part.

Lyric Theatre will present the Oklahoma premiere of SNAPSHOTS: A Musical Scrapbook as part of the 2010 'Lyric at the Plaza' season this February 4 through 14 at the newly renovated Plaza Theatre.

According to Variety, Antonia Banderas and Bill Paxton will join the cast of 'Knockout' along with mixed martial arts fighter Gina Carano. Steven Soderbergh's new film is an action-thriller with a script by Lem Dobbs. The two also worked together on 'The Limey' and 'Kafka.'

After meeting on the hit reality show 'Any Dream Will Do,' a contest Mead won, Mead and Van Outen began a relationship and married in April of 2009. Reportedly, the pair is thrilled about the news, with Van Outen quoted as saying 'I look at him and know he'd make a great father. Our kids will have so much curly hair!'
