The Factory Theatre opens the highly innovative Takeover Festival at York Theatre Royal with two of their most exciting productions to date - Hamlet and The Seagull. The Factory's Hamlet was a huge success in London during 2007 and 2008.

Broadway In Chicago is excited to announce Tony Award winners Roger Bart and Shuler Hensley will reprise the roles of Dr. Frederick Frankenstein and The Monster in the first national tour of The New Mel Brooks Musical Young Frankenstein. Directed by Tony Award nominee John Crowley, A STEADY RAIN begins previews on Thursday, September 10, 2009 and opens Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street) for a strictly limited 12 week engagement through Sunday, December 6, 2009.

The Kennedy Center today announced a one-time-only performance with Tony Award-winning actress and singer Jane Krakowski on October 3, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. in the Terrace Theater. The evening is part of Barbara Cook's Spotlight, which features theater cabaret performances throughout the 2009-2010 season by Broadway artists chosen by Barbara Cook.

Performances were set to begin Friday, April 11th, but the first few previews were delayed and the production starts this evening Monday April 13th as a visiting production at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (224 Waverly Place). Opening Night is set for Saturday evening, April 18th at 8 p.m.
