Rosario Dawson has agreed to direct a star-studded reading of Eve Ensler's new book, 'I Am an Emotional Creature.' The reading will take place as a benefit for V-Day, a global movement to end violence against women and girls. The cast for the benefit will include ennifer and Peter Buffett, Eve Ensler, Cynthia Nixon, Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon, and David Stone and V-Board members Rosario Dawson, Beth Dozoretz, Donna Karan, Katherine McFate, Pat Mitchell, Cari Ross, and Kerry Washington.

Salt Lake Community College Health & Wellness Services is presenting V-Day Salt Lake Community College 2010, a benefit production of Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues. The profits for the benefit will go toward raising funds and awareness to end violence against women and girls.

The women of American Conservatory Theater perform Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues as part of the national V-Day celebration. All proceeds from the event, which is spearheaded and produced by members of the A.C.T. Master of Fine Arts Program, will go to La Casa de les Madres women's shelter in San Francisco and the V-Day organization. The cast features A.C.T. core acting company member René Augesen, A.C.T. Artistic Director Carey Perloff, and A.C.T. Conservatory Director Melissa Smith, joined by a selection of A.C.T. staff members, A.C.T. M.F.A. Program students, and Bay Area actresses.
