According to numerous published reports, Mariah Carey may be immortalized in a new musical about her life and, allegedly, the famous singer is hoping to be portrayed on Broadway by Leona Lewis. A spokesperson for Carey reveals: 'Mariah is in talks for a Broadway musical to be made about her life in 2009.'

Barrowman Lands Guest Role on 'Desperate Housewives'

Mail Online is reporting stage and screen star John Barrowman had landed a guest role as the villain on the hit television series 'Desperate Housewives.' Barrowman is said to have a recurring role for several episodes on the upcoming season. Barrowman is set to begin filming in Los Angeles in early March alongside Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Eva Longoria Parker.

Desperate Housewives' Eva Longoria Parker and her husband, San Antonia Spurs guard, Tony Parker have launched a new GREASE contest for fans, the pair announced today. Fans are challenged to spoof famous scenes from the 1978 movie musical and submit their renditions online via Tony's official website. The winners, selected by Longoria Parker and Parker, will be flown out to meet the pair and watch one of Tony's games before the 2010 playoffs.
