FROM THE BODONI COUNTY SONGBOOK ANTHOLOGY: A MUSICAL REVIEW (OF SORTS) Continues Its Journey with a Stage Reading

SandRico Productions will present a musical theatre work-in-development with a public reading of "From the Bodoni County Songbook Anthology:  A Musical Review (of sorts)" with original text and lyrics by Frank Gagliano and music by the late Claibe Richardson.  This free reading, featuring a cast of seven and directed by Melissa Martin, will be held on Monday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Carnegie Stage (off the WALL productions), 25 West Main Street, Carnegie, PA 15106.

New Repertory Theatre to Stage Month-Long Festival of New Works by Joshua Sobol

New Repertory Theatre in collaboration with Boston Center for American Performance, Boston University, Israeli Stage, and Greensboro Arts Alliance & Residency/Mirror Theater will present several of playwright Joshua Sobol's works during the month of March and April, as well as a conversation with Mr. Sobol interviewed by WBUR's ARTery Editor Ed Siegel on Sunday, March 26, 7:30pm at the Mosesian Center for the Arts.

Christopher Maring Will Receive 5th Annual T. Fellowship

T. Fellowship, in association with Columbia University School of the Arts, announces the next T. Fellow is Christopher Maring, the fifth fellow in the one?year program designed to educate and empower new creative producers. The fellow will receive a stipend of $10,000 with a $20,000 budget for the development of a new theatrical production.

The Greensboro Arts Alliance and Residency (GAAR), under the Artistic Direction of Sabra Jones, has announced that celebrated British actor and Emmy Award winner Brian Cox will direct the premiere of Joshua Sobel's Sinners, and that Tony nominees Marla Schaffel and Kathryn Meisle will star in Annie Get Your Gun.

An all-new THEATER TALK presents an interview with writer James Grissom. In 1982 at age 20, Grissom met playwright Tennessee Williams. He became the famous writer's confidant, took copious notes of their conversations, and - encouraged by Williams (who died the year after they met) - went on to interview many of the great actresses who had worked with the master dramatist about their impressions of him and the impact of his work. Grissom then compiled their insights about one of the most gifted and complex American playwrights into his wonderful book, FOLLIES OF GOD - Tennessee Williams and the Women of the Fog, now published by Alfred A. Knopf.

Pulitzer-Winning Play ALISON'S HOUSE Opens Tonight at Metropolitan Playhouse

The Obie Award-winning Metropolitan Playhouse offers the first uncut revival of Susan Glaspell's 1931 Pulitzer winning ALISON'S HOUSE since its debut. Directed by Artistic Director Alex Roe at the Playhouse (220 E 4th Street, New York City), the production runs now through December 13, 2015. Opening night is set for tonight, November 20.
