The 2013-2014 season at Cleveland Play House (CPH) continues with the compelling world premiere production of Deborah Zoe Laufer's Informed Consent. Co-produced with Geva Theatre Center, this incredibly thought-provoking production is inspired by the real life court case between the Havasupai Indian tribe and Arizona State University, and sparks an intriguing debate on both ethicality and morality. Directed by Sean Daniels and Sponsored by Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Cleveland Clinic and MetroHealth, Informed Consent will serve as the centerpiece to CPH's 2014 New Ground Theatre Festival and will run from April 23 - May 18 in the Second Stage.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center announced today applications are now being accepted for the National Critics Institute's Fellows Program through Friday, May 16, 2014. The conference begins on the evening of Saturday June 28th and runs through the morning of Saturday July 12th.

In a recent interview with the San Diego Union-Tribune, Tony winner Duncan Sheik revealed that the time is drawing near for the highly-anticipated film version of his 2006 musical- Spring Awakening. He told the UT: 'We're trying to get the 'Spring Awakening' movie made this year. It's in process, and we have a fancy director (McG) and a fancy producer (Playtone, Tom Hanks' company) involved. So fingers crossed we'll be diving into it.'
