Katrina Lenk, Richard Topol, Lenny Wolpe and More Star in Yale Rep's INDECENT World Premiere, Beginning Tonight

Yale Repertory Theatre opens its 2015-16 season with the world premiere of INDECENT, a new play with music, written by Paula Vogel, created by Paula Vogel and Rebecca Taichman, and directed by Rebecca Taichman, at the University Theatre (222 York Street), tonight, October 2, through October 24. Opening Night is Thursday, October 8. The world premiere of INDECENT is a co-production with La Jolla Playhouse, where it will play November 13-December 10.

The Hypocrites to Stage THE 4TH GRADERS PRESENT AN UNNAMED LOVE-SUICIDE This Fall

The Hypocrites is pleased to continue its 2015-16 season with THE 4TH GRADERS PRESENT AN UNNAMED LOVE-SUICIDE by Artistic Director Sean Graney, co-directed by Joel Ewing and Mechelle Moe, featuring students from Senn Arts Magnet High School's "The Yard." This special collaboration will play eight performances only October 30 - November 8, 2015 at The Den Theatre's Heath Main Stage, 1329 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago.

En Garde Arts Moves BOSSS Festival to 10/23-25 Due to Tropical Storm Joachim

Due to tropical storm Joachim, En Garde Arts has postponed BOSSS, its new site-specific outdoor performance festival featuring new works by some of the New York City's most promising emerging theatre artists, to October 23-25 throughout Hudson River Park. The opening night party at The Frying Pan will now take place on October 23 at 7pm.

The Old Vic announces the full cast joining Bertie Carvel inRichard Jones' new production of THE HAIRY APE, the second production in Matthew Warchus' opening season as Artistic Director. THE HAIRY APE opens on 29 October, with previews from 17 October, and will see The Old Vic theatre transformed back to its original proscenium arch layout.

ETC to Present BUYER AND CELLAR

Grab your shopping bags! You won't want to miss the regional premiere of Buyer and Cellar, the hit comedy by Jonathan Tolins. This outrageous one-man play takes us to the lavish home (well…basement) of Barbra Streisand, where we attempt to navigate this leading lady's personal shopping mall through the eyes of her salesclerk, or the keeper of all things Barbra. Buyer and Cellar will star ETC veteran Nick Cearley (Next to Normal, The Great American Trailer Park Musical) and plays October 13 and runs through November 1, 2015. Directed by D. Lynn Meyers.

PENTECOST, CAROUSEL, SWAN LAKE and More Set for CCM's 2015-16 Mainstage Series

The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) is pleased to announce details for its 2015-16 Mainstage Series of opera, musical theatre, drama and dance productions. Between today, Sept. 30, 2015, and April 24, 2016, CCM's stars-of-tomorrow will present seven masterworks for the stage under the guidance of its internationally acclaimed faculty artists.

David Roby's SOMETIMES THERE'S GOD SO QUICKLY to Play Seacoast Rep This October

Starting Wednesday, October 7, the Seacoast Repertory Theatre will host writer and actor David Roby as he performs his 90-minute one man show SOMETIMES THERE'S GOD SO QUICKLY, investigating the CAT ON THE HOT TIN ROOF playwright Tennessee Williams. Playing three shows on October 7, 14, and 25, Roby's play will run concurrently to The Rep's production of Williams' CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF in which Roby stars as "Brick."

Or does it? BELIEVERS by Ken Jaworowski, a haunting drama, tests that assumption with the generational tale of a couple who marry in a state of faith but find their belief undone twenty years later when life tests them more severely than people ought to be. WorkShop Theater, 312 West 36th Street, will present the play's world premiere run tonight, September 25 to October 17, directed by Alex Dmitriev.
