Actress/LA theatre inaugurator, Penny Fuller has embarked on a new leg of her career as a cabaret artiste. Ms. Fuller will be bringing her solo musical play 13 THINGS ABOUT ED CARPOLOTTI to the Broad Stage beginning January 11. I had the most delightful opportunity to chat with the vibrant, vivacious Ms. Fuller. Company of Fools (COF) is pleased to announce that Ilana Becker has been appointed to the new position of Associate Artistic Director. After conducting a national search that yielded more than 80 qualified applicants, Company of Fools' and Sun Valley Center for the Arts' leadership determined that Becker's expertise and passion for theatre made her the ideal candidate for the position. In her new role, Becker will assist newly promoted COF Artistic Director John Glenn and contribute to The Center's education initiatives and BIG IDEA programs. Glenn, who was recently honored with the 2016 Idaho Governor's Award for Excellence in the Arts, assumed leadership of Company of Fools following the recent departure of his co-artistic director, Denise Simone.

Greg Allen christened The Neo-Futurists with the opening of his show 'Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind' - an ongoing experiment in performing '30 Plays in 60 Minutes' - on December 2nd, 1988, during the last lame days of the Reagan administration. Continuing its run in Chicago 50 weeks per year, it became the longest-running show in Chicago history. After 28 years, that run will come to a close on December 31st, 2016.
