Emma Rice is back after her kerfuffle with Shakespeare's Globe, debuting her brand new company with an adaptation of Angela Carter's novel of the same name. After being shown out of the Bard's doors last April, and following the company's funding controversy, she silences doubters by taking up residency at the Old Vic with a gloriously colourful and unashamedly bold first show.

The Old Vic today announces the cast of Wise Children, which will have its world premiere at The Old Vic on 17 October, with previews from 8 October, ahead of its UK tour. The cast includes Sam Archer, Ankur Bahl, Stu Barker, Omari Douglas, Mirabelle Gremaud, Alex Heane, Paul Hunter, Melissa James, Bettrys Jones, Patrycja Kujawska, Etta Murfitt, Katy Owen, Ian Ross, Gareth Snook and Mike Shepherd.

The Everyman Company 2018 will present the stage adaptation of Anthony Burgess' A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess as director Nick Bagnall invites audiences into a world of milk, ultraviolence and Ludwig Van Beethoven.

After a short stay at the Bristol Old Vic, and an award-winning run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Daniel Jamieson's play about the life and love of Marc and Bella Chagall begins a UK/US tour at Wilton's Music Hall in east London. Directed by Emma Rice, it follows in the wake of Romantics Anonymous and precedes the return of Brief Encounter and the debut of her brand new theatre company Wise Children.

What do you get if you take a French film, a liberal portion of chocolate and a sprinkling of Emma Rice magic? The opening winter season production, Romantics Anonymous! This brand new musical, based on Les Emotifs Anonymes, plays for a limited time across the festive season and is Rice's final new work at Shakespeare's Globe.

One of the defining novels of the 20th Century, Gunter Grass's dazzling tour de force, The Tin Drum, is being brought to thrilling theatrical life by Kneehigh in a touring co-production with Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse and West Yorkshire Playhouse. It will open to press at Liverpool Everyman this week, then transfer to West Yorkshire Playhouse before travelling to Bristol, Cornwall and finishing in London's Shoreditch Town Hall. Opening Friday, 28th of July 2017 for two performances, the International Intensive Summer Showcase brings to the Sarasota stage works by Marius Petipa, Antony Tudor, Sir Matthew Bourne, L.Lavrosky and Arthur St. Leon.

For its 30th Anniversary Season, The National Youth Ballet of Great Britain ("The NYB") will present Time in Motion, a mixed programme of ballets choreographed by some of the UKs most eminent professionals and rising talents, performed by a company of young dancers aged 8-18 from across the UK.

This seems to be the year of Twelfth Night, with the National Theatre's production recently closing and several other touring companies taking it on. But what better place to bring it to life than the Globe, in Emma Rice's 'Summer of Love'? It now plays alongside Daniel Kramer's Romeo and Juliet, making it the first of Shakespeare's comedies being performed there this season.

The brilliant theatricality of Kneehigh, the innovative United Kingdom-based theater company, will be on display at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts once again when 946: The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips has its Los Angeles premiere.  Based on the beloved book by War Horse author Michael Morpurgo, 946 explores everything we thought we knew about the D-Day landings in this tender musical tale of love and war. Adapted by Morpurgo and Emma Rice, who also directs, 946 is a Kneehigh production presented in association with Birmingham Repertory and Berkeley Repertory Theatres. Performances begin February 9 with the opening on February 10.

Matthew Bourne's acclaimed new production of THE RED SHOES had its Sadler's Wells press night this week and a special gala performance last night. The show runs until 29 January, 2017.

Every year, the Globe hosts productions by writers other than Shakespeare - this year it sees the inclusion of Kneehigh Theatre's version of Michael Morpurgo's 946: The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips. Adapted for the stage by Morpurgo and Emma Rice, it sits neatly in the middle of the Wonder Season, prior to embarking on a UK and US tour. On the face of it 946 is a family show, however there really is something for everyone.

The first revival of Matthew Bourne's SLEEPING BEAUTY will open at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth tonight 17 October 2015 with an eight-week Christmas season at Sadler's Wells from Tuesday 1 December 2015 to Saturday 24 January 2016. (Press night on Wednesday 9 December 2015). In total, the production will play 18 venues. Matthew Bourne's SLEEPING BEAUTY is a gothic tale for all ages; the traditional tale of good vs. evil and rebirth is turned upside-down, creating a supernatural love story that even the passage of time itself cannot hinder.
