That's right, folks! Tis' the season for frosted windowpanes, candy canes, sleigh rides and chestnuts roasting on an open fire holiday traditions made extra special by experiencing them with loved ones! But before the calendar is full with the fun and festivities of the season, add a NEW holiday tradition to this year's Christmas schedule, A Flat Rock Playhouse Christmas! In an original revue with holiday favorites for the whole family, Flat Rock Playhouse brings the spirit and magic of Christmas to life onstage Vagabond style! A Flat Rock Playhouse Christmas will run November 25th through December 22nd on the Flat Rock Playhouse Mainstage.

Little Shop of Horrors hits the Mainstage tonight, October 6th, and runs through October 21 at the Clyde and Nina Allen Mainstage in the Village of Flat Rock, NC. In celebration of the 2016 Centennial of the National Park Service, Flat Rock Playhouse announced today plans to debut two original works to be performed by the Flat Rock Playhouse 2016 Apprentice Company during the Sandburg Summer Stage series:  Spink, Skabootch and Swipes in Rootabaga Country, written and directed by Flat Rock Playhouse Producing Artistic Director Lisa K. Bryant and Carl Sandburg's Rootabaga Express, with book, music, lyrics and direction by Flat Rock Playhouse 2016 Apprentice Director Ethan Andersen.
