The next production to open at Hayes Theatre Co will be a brand new production of Nick Enright and Max Lambert's musical Miracle City presented by Luckiest Productions in association with Hayes Theatre Co from October 17 - November 16 2014.
Star of TV's Winners and Losers and talented cabaret artist Virginia Gay will be this year's compere with a twist at the one-night-only Twisted Broadway charity concert at Arts Centre Melbourne, Playhouse on Monday 4th August, 2014.
As previously reported, following a successful run in Melbourne, the producers of KING KONG were planning to bring the mega-musical to Broadway in December 2014. Due to the 'huge scale of the production' and to allow the creative team necessary time to implement changes, the producers have decided 'to not rush in before the end of the year.'

According to The Age, the creators of the new Australian musical KING KONG are searching for a theater on Broadway. Global Creatures' producer Bill Harris, technical director Richard Martin and production designer Peter England are vetting theaters this week. The team is looking to launch KING KONG in the United States within the next two years.
