A strong lineup of productions for the 2010-11 season continues Children's Theatre of Charlotte's commitment to providing theatre that entertains, challenges and inspires young people and families. In its 63rd year, the Theatre presents a wide range of shows, including musical spectacular Disney's Aladdin, the return of popular holiday production Scrooge! and several storybook adaptations that are new to area audiences.

When the ladies of Rylstone Women's Institute came up with the idea of stripping off for a charity calendar back in 1998 they had no idea they would spark a global phenomenon. Now, just over ten years on, they have filled more column inches than they can count, been the subject of a smash hit movie and the record breaking stage production which is currently touring the UK after a triumphant run in London's West End.

Television star Michelle Collins, best-known as ‘Cindy Beale' in 'EastEnders' as well as the BBC television series 'Two Thousand Acres of Sky' and 'Sunburn', has been cast as the Nurse in the upcoming production of Romeo and Juliet at the Octagon Theatre Bolton. Romeo and Juliet has been scheduled to run February 3 - March 5.
