by David Wolber, is a coming-of-age story set in rural Kansas and explores the challenges young adults may face in foster homes, the lasting effects these memories can have on a person, and how 17-year-old Lois is able to overcome anything that is thrown her way.
Linda Lavin to Lead Nicky Silver's TOO MUCH SUN at Vineyard Theatre; Opens 5/20

The Tony Award-winning actress Linda Lavin will return to the Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15 St.) - where she created the role of Rita Lyons in Nicky Silver's acclaimed comedy THE LYONS in 2012 - in Mr. Silver's newest work, TOO MUCH SUN, with previews set to begin May 1, 2014 prior to an official opening on May 20. Mark Brokaw, who directed THE LYONS - including the play's recent celebrated debut in London - directs TOO MUCH SUN.

On Saturday at the Shaftesbury Theatre the Military Wives Choir shared the stage with the full company of From Here to Eternity to mark today's anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, an event integral to the plot of the musical. Introduced by Tim Rice, the choir of 36 joined the company for a moving curtain call rendition of Boys of '41 - the song in the show dedicated to the soldiers who lost their lives in the attack.

Today, we're featuring Tim Conway, circa 1995. Conway is best known for his role in the popular 1960s World War II situation comedy McHale's Navy as the inept Ensign Charles Parker, second in command to Lieutenant Commander Quinton McHale (played by Ernest Borgnine), for co-starring alongside Carol Burnett on The Carol Burnett Show, and as the voice of Barnacle Boy from the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants (alongside Borgnine, who provided the voice of Mermaid Man until his death in 2012).
