PS122's 2017 Gala to Fete Alan Cumming at the Diamond Horseshoe

Like the Criminologist in ROCKY HORROR, Erin Markey is here to take you on a strange journey. Well, technically, said journey has been going on since 2013. And, after years of working on her original musical, A RIDE ON THE IRISH CREAM, this was more of a victory lap for Markey, in the form of an album release celebration at Joe's Pub. Don't worry, though. It's still plenty strange.

The reclamation of spaces, ideas, and paradigms by female-identified and informed bodies and queer bodies embodying feminist ethos must be made paramount at this moment in American Life. Led by Half Straddle's Artistic Director, Tina Satter, Here I Go, pt. 2 of You is a two week open work period and colloquy, encompassing rehearsals and showings of new theater and video work; the launch of an online journal of performance writing; public lectures; and communal zine-making activities that will act as accessible discussion periods. 

Steve Earle to Make Off-Broadway Acting Debut in SAMARA at Soho Rep; Full Cast Announced!

At the Mezzanine Theatre at the A.R.T./New York Theatres (502 W 53rd Street), Soho Rep. is pleased to present the world premiere of Richard Maxwell's Samara, commissioned by Artistic Director Sarah Benson. In a departure, Maxwell, who has directed nearly all 20 of his plays, is handing over the directorial duties to Benson. Maxwell's work was seen previously at Soho Rep. in 2001 with Cavemen and in 1999 with Cowboys and Indians.

OBERON, the American Repertory Theater's (A.R.T.) second stage and club theater venue, presents A Ride on the Irish Cream, written and created by Erin Markey and directed by Jordan Fein. Performances begin today, February 28 and run through Saturday, March 4 at OBERON, 2 Arrow St, Cambridge.

2017/18 BAX Artist in Residence and Space Grant Applications Open

Artist in Residence BAX asks artists to submit a Letter of Intent to be selected to submit a full proposal for the Artist in Residence program.The Letter of Intent can only be submitted online no later than Wednesday March 1, 2017 at 5:00pm. All applicants will be notified by Friday March 10, 2017.
