Producing Artistic Director Carolyn Griffin is pleased to announce that the 2007 smash hit Musical of Musicals (The Musical!) is returning to MetroStage August 27 through October 18, 2009.

Broadway takes center stage in the hilarious spoof, 'The Musical of Musicals: The Musical,' coming to Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre. The Pennington Players presents this affectionate satire on Fridays, Aug. 14 and 21 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, Aug. 15 and 22 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, Aug. 16 and 23 at 2 p.m.

The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!), the acclaimed off Broadway hit by Eric Rockwell and Joanne Bogart that has played to sold-out houses across the United Stages, in Canada and on London's West End, will return to New York for a one-night-only performance, on Wednesday, July 8 at 7:30pm. The evening will benefit the York Theatre Company, the award-winning off-Broadway company that first produced the show, in 2004, in honor of the theatre's 40th Anniversary.

The producers and cast of The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!) have dedicated the one-night-only benefit performance on Wednesday, July 8 at 7:30pm to the memory of Lovette George, who starred in the original off Broadway production and died in September, 2006 from ovarian cancer, at the age of 44. The benefit will be presented at The York Theatre Company in Saint Peter's Church, (54th Street and Lexington Avenue).

The Tony® Honored BMI-Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop announces its Spring Smoker, a semi-annual showcase for new songs from Workshop writers. The performers are a who's who of the best of Key West. David Black is comfortable moving between musical theater, comedy and drama, as reflected in his many appearances on Key West stages. This season he appeared at the Waterfront in the highly praised 'Doubt' as well as 'Reefer Madness' and 'The Red Head Dilemma.' Laurie Breakwell appeared this season in the Key West Pops concert of 'A Little Night Music' and 'The Wild Women of Planet Wongo' at the Red Barn. Last season she appeared in the Barn's 'Bark!' as well as the Pops' 'The Pajama Game.'

TADA! Youth Theater (Janine Nina Trevens, Executive & Artistic Director), the City's 'best known children's musical theater' will kick-off the season with the with the 10th Anniversary production of the family musical Golly Gee Whiz, with book and music by Eric Rockwell and book and lyrics by Joanne Bogart, directed and choreographed by Joanna Greer with musical direction by Jim Colleran. The show will open in Friday, January 9 and run through February 15 at TADA! Theater is located at 15 West 28th Street. TADA! Youth Theater to present the World Premiere Musical 'Princess Phooey' beginning April 24th.

TADA! TADA! Youth Theater announces their 24th season with three great productions for the whole family. First up, The Perfect Monster, book by Janine Nina Trevens, music and lyrics by Deirdre Broderick. The Perfect Monster begins on Friday, January 18, 2008 and runs through Monday, February 18, 2008
