The 2016 Apprentice/Intern Company evening of new ten-minute plays, THE TENS runs today, January 12, through January 16 in the Victor Jory Theatre at Actors Theatre of Louisville.

Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein are proud to announce the 2016 lineup for the Apprentice/Intern Company evening of new ten-minute plays. The Tens runs January 12-16 in the Victor Jory Theatre at Actors Theatre of Louisville.

The Theatre School at DePaul University will present The Day John Henry Came to School by Eric Pfeffinger, directed by Ernie Nolan, as the final production of the 2014-2015 Chicago Playworks for Families and Young Audiences season. This production opens April 7, 2015 and runs through May 16, 2015, at DePaul's historic Merle Reskin Theatre. Performances are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 AM, and Todays 2 PM. Special Friday performances (10 AM) will occur on April 24 and May 1. A Sunday performance will be held on April 12 (2 PM).

(Philadelphia, PA) PlayPenn, Philadelphia's nationally recognized professional new play development organization, will hold its 11th annual New Play Development Conference from July 7 - July 26, 2015 at Drexel University in Philadelphia. Page 73 Productions - the Off-Broadway company dedicated to producing and developing works by early-career playwrights -- has announced 26 semi-finalists for their 2014 development programs. Page 73's slate of individually-tailored developmental programs for early-career playwrights includes the P73 Playwriting Fellowship, the Interstate 73 writers group, and the Summer Residency at Yale University.

Stage Left Theatre announces the recipients of the Downstage Left Playwright Residencies for Season 32. Residencies are designed to help playwrights take a project from the conceptual stage all the way to a production-ready script. Playwrights work closely with ensemble directors and members of the literary team to design a process tailored to the particular needs of their project.
