Broadway star Eric Kunze, a favorite of Sacramento Music Circus audiences, will perform a benefit concert for the nonprofit California Musical Theatre tonight, December 4, at 7:30 p.m., at the 200-seat Cosmopolitan Cabaret in downtown Sacramento. Kunze, who has starred in a number of Broadway shows and national Broadway tours, was most recently at Music Circus playing the role of Prince Eric in this past summer's production of Disney's The Little Mermaid. He was also widely praised for his role as Chris in the 2011 Music Circus production of Miss Saigon.
An all new Christmas CD Recording titled A VERY BROADWAY CHRISTMAS will feature a host of Broadway Stars to support the Dr. Carol Channing-Harry Kullijian Foundation For The Arts in its mission to promote the arts in public education. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this CD will go directly to support schools in Union Beach, New Jersey who lost all of their musical instruments after Hurricane Sandy and have been forced to cancel their music classes and programs indefinitely.
