Rack have announced two events that will be taking place in the greater Pasadena area this summer: an enhanced staged reading of Holmes, Sherlock and The Consulting Detective on Friday, June 26 at 7pm at The Huntington (San Marino) and a Summer Wicked Lit Installation including a full production of W.W. Jacobs' The Monkey's Paw and a staged reading of H.P. Lovecraft's From Beyond: July 10-25 at Mountain View Mausoleum (Altadena).

The production will run from today, October 4-November 2, 2013 and feature world premiere adaptations of H.P Lovecraft's The Lurking Fear and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The New Catacomb as well as a revival of Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
Wicked Lit will present H.P. Lovecraft's The Lurking Fear, adapted by Jeff G. Rack and Jonathan Josephson, and directed by Paul Millet from October 4 - November 2. Friday-Sunday, Oct 4-6; Thursday-Sunday, Oct 10-13; Thursday-Sunday, Oct 17-20; Thursday-Sunday, Oct 24-27; Wednesday-Saturday, Oct 30-Nov 2. As backstage comedies go, Opening Night is not on a par with the farcical Noises Off or with the flamboyant My Favorite Year, but it is a sweet play just the same with uber belly laughs and miles of heart.
