Horse Trade Theater Group presents THE SUBJECTIVE THEATRE COMPANY CORPORATE PERSONHOOD PLAY FESTIVAL

The Gallery at Access Theater will host the World Premiere of THE WIFE by Tommy Smith. Equal parts black comedy and psychological drama, it is directed by May Adrales (Thomas Bradshaw's The Bereaved -- Time Out NY Critics Pick, Top 10 of 2009).

ATC proudly presents a limited engagement of ROMEO AND JULIET, the 'greatest love story ever told,' performed by two of America's premier classical theatre companies for a limited run, November 4-7 at the Herberger Theater Center in Phoenix and November 11-14 at the Temple of Music and Art in Tucson. The New York Times says, 'ROMEO AND JULIET is a play of enormous, reckless passions - clans feud, friends quarrel, and lovers swoon. Here, those passions are met head-on, and with real skill.' The Minneapolis Examiner claims, 'This ROMEO AND JULIET transcends its classic status by portraying its fated lovers as two swept up in a romance that leads from the heart and not from the head. Whatever your age, it's safe to say this production will make you feel equally smitten.' This is a strictly limited engagement of this acclaimed national tour of William Shakespeare's richly poetic tragedy of young love.

Theatricum's play development program, Botanicum Seedlings, continues to foster its relationship with local playwrights by producing its first ever festival of new short plays. The Fall (short) Playreading Festival features the works of emerging and award-winning writers based in the L.A. area, all of whom have been involved with Seedlings. A harvest of eight short plays based on the theme 'backyard fruit,' along with gourmet seasonal refreshments, The Fall (short) Playreading Festival takes place Saturday and Sunday, November 20 & 21, at 2 pm. Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) is proud to announce that Atlantic Theater Company members Larry Bryggman and Matt McGrath and guest artists Lisa Emery, Rebecca Henderson and Darren Pettie will star in its first main stage production of the 2010-2011 season, THE COLLECTION & A KIND OF ALASKA: TWO PLAYS BY HAROLD PINTER, directed by Atlantic founding member Karen Kohlhaas.

A multitude of the most curious chapters from 500+ years of animal trials will take center stage in late November at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College with excerpts from 'The Tragical-Comical Trial Trial of Madame P and Other 4-Legged and Winged Creatures,' a multi-media phantasmagoria-in-progress by award-winning playwright Susan Yankowitz. The play is widely interdisciplinary, engaging themes of animal rights and law, criminal justice, philosophy and ethics. The concluding event of John Jay's annual Art of Justice Series, it will be presented on Monday and Tuesday, November 29 and 30 at 7:00pm. The Gerald W. Sloan Project.
