Now, due to Disney setting the release dates for their upcoming live action films, The Wrap has confirmed that Miranda is officially on tap to star in the film, alongside INTO THE WOODS star, Emily Blunt.  

Starz and FremantleMedia North America (FMNA) began production this week on the 10-episode first season of AMERICAN GODS, the adaptation of Neil Gaiman's acclaimed contemporary fantasy novel. Shooting has commenced in Toronto, Canada and will continue in additional locations across America.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tony winner Alan Cumming has signed on to join Emma Stone and Steve Carell in Fox Searchlight's 1973 Billie Jean King/Bobby Riggs comedy BATTLE OF THE SEXES.

?FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW - Broadway's Supper Club - will present the return of BENJAMIN EAKELEY and his acclaimed solo concert debut, "BROADWAY SWINGER," on Monday, May 9 at 7:00 PM.

If there were a Tony Award category for 'Best Dance Shoes', the most likely nominee (and winner) would be Broadway shoe designer Phil LaDuca. This season alone his custom-made shoes are trotting the boards in a batch of new shows including Shuffle Along, Tuck Everlasting, She Loves Me, and the upcoming New York Spring Spectacular starring the Rockettes. His trendy dance shoes were also worn in the hit movie musical, Chicago, and in Katy Perry's acclaimed performance in last year's Super Bowl XLIX halftime show.

The streaming service has granted MANIAC a 10-episode straight-to-series order.

No network is currently attached, though MANIAC will be shopped to premium cable networks and Netflix, per the report. A straight-to-series order is sought.
