Florida Studio Theatre's improv troupe is shaking things up this spring with an exciting, fresh form of spontaneous fun. At FST Freestyle, Sarasota audiences will be able to see free-form improv-a daring improv style with no rules or limits-on Saturdays at 7:30 pm in FST's Bowne's Lab starting April 14, 2018.

Florida Studio Theatre's home Improv team goes head-to-head in a truly one-of-a-kind celebration of spontaneity, improvisation, and April Fool's Day. On March 31, some of the Gulf Coast's top improvisers will compete in a series of scenes, songs, and games to win your laughter, your applause, and the coveted title of "Champion of Fools." The exclusive performance takes place in FST's Bowne's Lab Theatre at 8:30PM. On June 20th, The Ellen Hermanson Foundation's founding chairs Emily Levin Esq. and Julie Ratner Ed. D held their 20th annual gala to celebrate their achievements over the past two decades and to honor Andy Sabin for his environmental and philanthropic work. Chaired by Jean Shafiroff and hosted by Fox Meteorologist Audrey Puente, the duo welcomed over 300 guests to photographer, Steven Klein's Westkill Farm in Bridgehampton for a night of dinner and dancing to the sounds of Audrey's brother, Tito Puente Jr. & his 10-piece band.
