Flint Rep Presents A New Holiday Favorite THE LITTLE PRINCE

Flint Repertory Theatre presents "THE LITTLE PRINCE," Adapted by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar, Based on the book by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. Performances begin Today December 14 and run through Sunday December 23. Tickets are now on sale. In the middle of the Sahara Desert, a stranded aviator meets the Little Prince, who hails from a small, faraway asteroid. Their dreamlike journey unfolds across a universe sparking our imaginations along the way. The Little Prince teaches the aviator how to laugh, cry, and love again. This holiday classic for all ages, reminds us "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly."

BWW REVIEW: Hedonism And The Heady Days Of The 1920's Come Alive In THE WILD PARTY

Michael J. LaChiusa (music, lyrics and book) and George C. Wolfe's (book) musical interpretation of Joseph Moncure March's once scandalous 1928 poem THE WILD PARTY is an escapist night of deliciously dark debauchery.  The latest production from Little Triangle Theatre is a feast for the senses with fabulous music combining with brilliant choreography and creative costuming.

Meredith Roberts Named Senior Vice President, Animation Strategy, for Disney Channels

Meredith Roberts, a well-regarded leader in animation for film and television, has been named to the newly created role of senior vice president, Animation Strategy, Disney Channels. She will be responsible for leading a unified vision for the animation content produced by Disney Television Animation and other studios for Disney Junior, Disney Channel, Disney XD and related platforms. Roberts will report to Nancy Kanter, executive vice president, Content and Creative Strategy, Disney Channels Worldwide, and general manager, Disney Junior Worldwide.

Flux Theatre Ensemble will present the World Premiere of August Schulenburg's (Lesser Seductions of History; DEINDE) JANE THE PLAIN, May 9-24 at the 4th Street Theatre (83 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery). The production will be directed by Kelly O'Donnell (NYIT Award nomination for Hearts Like Fists) with Assistant Director Emily Hartford (Co-founder, Rabbit Hole Ensemble) and will feature Becky Byers* (NYIT Award nomination for Hearts Like Fists), Sol Crespo (nytheatre.com 2012 Person of the Year; August Schulenburg's DEINDE), Chester Poon (Job at The Flea; Adam Szymkowicz's Hearts Like Fists), Alisha Spielmann* (Johnna Adams' Sans Merci), Isaiah Tanenbaum* (August Schulenburg's Honey Fist), and Chinaza Uche* (Indie Theatre Now 2013 Person of the Year; Ellen McLaughlin's Ajax in Iraq). The creative team will include Sound Design by Janie Bullard (2014 USITT/LDI Rising Star Award; Indie Theatre Now 2013 Person of the Year), Set Design by Will Lowry (Ajax in Iraq), Costume Design by Stephanie Levin (Hearts Like Fists), and Lighting Design by Kia Rogers (2012 nytheatre.com Person of the Year). MTWorks Gives Voice to Wildlife Victims of Gulf Oil Spill in DARK WATER

MANHATTAN THEATRE WORKS (MTWorks), in association with the Theater Series at the 14th Street Y, are pleased to announce the world premiere of MTWorks Co-Artistic Director David Stallings' DARK WATER, directed by Heather Cohn (FringeNYC Excellence Award for Outstanding Direction for Other Bodies). In DARK WATER, the swampland of Louisiana is hit with the most massive oil spill known to history. Barnacle, an old sea turtle, fights against man's destruction, nature's wrath, and her enemies of the wild to save her children trapped in the spill. Poetry, allegory, music, puppetry and movement create this magical world as the animals of Louisiana face the ultimate threat to their lives.

Messenger Theatre Company presents the New York premiere of the family friendly AS WE LIKE IT October 17- 27 at the IATI Theater (64 E. 4th St. New York, NY 10003). Conceived by Emily Davis and Sara Zimmerman, AS WE LIKE IT, is a playful two-woman adaptation of William Shakespeare's As You Like It directed by Eva Burges.
