Following an overwhelmingly positive response from audiences and critics alike, Berkeley Rep has announced that the world premiere musical of Mira Nair's Monsoon Wedding will extend for a second week.

Mira Nair's MONSOON WEDDING will be Broadway-bound following its run in San Francisco. Based on the iconic 2001 film, the stage musical had its world premiere  at Berkeley Repertory Theatre on Friday, May 19th. 

Following an overwhelmingly positive response from audiences, and two weeks of sold-out previews, Berkeley Rep has announced that the world premiere musical of Mira Nair's Monsoon Wedding will extend for an additional week.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full and final casting for the world premiere of Monsoon Wedding. The musical stage production will be directed by acclaimed filmmaker Mira Nair and hosts a cast of 20 actors from around the globe.
