MCA Music Inc./Universal Music Group has just released the movie soundtrack of Tony nominee and acclaimed filmmaker Baz Luhrmann's book-to-screen adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's great American novel 'The Great Gatsby.'

The Great Gatsby, the companion album to the Baz Luhrmann-directed movie of the same name, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart this week, selling 136,840 copies and becoming the best-selling movie soundtrack since The Hunger Games. This is the third soundtrack from a Baz Luhrmann film to reach the top three, following William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet and Moulin Rouge!

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) today announced the integration of streams to its historic Gold & Platinum (G&P) Program, the industry's premier award for recognizing artistic achievement in the marketplace. On-demand audio and/or video song streams will now be counted towards the 500,000 (Gold), 1,000,000 (Platinum) and 2,000,000 plus (multi-Platinum) thresholds required for G&P's Digital Single Award certification.

On this week's episode of ABC's DANCING WITH THE STARS, the judges felt 'The Bachelor' Sean Lowe took a step backwards in the Performance Show. Fan votes couldn't save him after this critique and he was eliminated from the competition.

Six remaining couples take to the dance floor, MONDAY, MAY 6 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on ABC. For the first time this season, each couple will perform two routines in an effort to impress the judges and earn America's votes. In the first round, the couples will perform a traditional ballroom dance in a style that they've not yet done. In the second round, the couples will dance as part of a trio, featuring an eliminated pro or troupe member. In addition, viewers will be called to action on Twitter to choose new dance styles for each couple for the following week of competition. The new styles will include, Afro-Jazz, Disco, Flamenco, Hip-hop, Lindyhop and Charleston.

MTV announced today a pilot greenlight based on the hugely successful horror film franchise 'Scream' with Dimension Films for MTV, plus the addition of three new series to its diverse programming slate, including 'Generation Cryo,' 'Nurse Nation' and 'The Hook Up,' at its annual Upfront Presentation at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. In addition, the network announced the season three renewal of 'Snooki & JWOWW' and highlighted an impressive programming slate of 15 returning hits. MTV is a division of Viacom Inc. (NASDAQ: VIA, VIAB).

As the first signs of spring are appearing in New York, it's heating up at nationally-syndicated morning talk show "LIVE with Kelly and Michael." During the May sweep, an exciting lineup of A-list celebrities and top musicians will visit hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan. The lineup for May will also include theme weeks such as "Top Teacher Week," "New You in New York Makeover Week," "Winner Week" and "Kelly & Michael's Fitness Challenge."

Presented by G by GUESS, this year's chart-topping artist lineup includes Bruno Mars (who will open the show,) Maroon 5, Flo Rida, will.i.am, Demi Lovato, Fall Out Boy, Miguel, Afrojack, Icona Pop, Jason Derulo, Krewella, Emeli Sande and Ariana Grande. Ryan Seacrest will host the show, along with the rest of the KIIS FM Airstaff with a special guest host appearance by Britney Spears.

The 21st annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party hosted by Sir Elton John and David Furnish raised $6 million for the fight against HIV/AIDS.

The Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) announced today that it has selected soulful Scottish songstress Emeli Sandé to perform at this year's Academy Awards Viewing Party to be held on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at West Hollywood Park.

Former Vice President Al Gore will visit the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, Tuesday, Jan. 29 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. This will be Gore's seventh appearance on the broadcast.
