Jim Witter will star in It's Still Rock 'n' Roll to Me accompanied by his band, for this multi-media rock musical that pays tribute to the '70s & '80s through the music of Billy Joel & Elton John on April 5 at 8 p.m.

BODY OF WAR will receive a film screening and Q&A with producer Phil Donahue on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 3:30 pm (doors open at 3pm) at Great Neck Arts Center Theatre (113 Middle Neck Road, Great Neck).

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced its 2013-2014 theater season. GLAAD, the nation's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) media advocacy organization, today announced that Madonna will present journalist, author and talk show host Anderson Cooper with the Vito Russo Award at the 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards at the New York ceremony on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the New York Marriot Marquis, presented locally by Delta Air Lines. The GLAAD Media Awards are presented nationally by Ketel One and Wells Fargo.

The frontwoman for Adelaide cover band Chunky Custard and former Formula One Grid Girl Becky Blake is back for the 2013 Fringe with two shows; her acclaimed Piano Chicks (a sellout in 2012) will return to The Promethean, 116 Grote Street Adelaide for three performances only tonight, 2, 10 and 12 March. Signature Theatre has announced that their "The World of the Play" series continues with a discussion of the history and current conditions of Chinese laborers, inspired by David Henry Hwang's THE DANCE AND THE RAILROAD, now playing in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center. The panel of experts will reflect on the history, impact, and discrimination faced by Chinese laborers in the United States, and the issues facing these laborers today, both in the United States and in China.

Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) next free OSL@DMC event at The DiMenna Center for Classical Music will feature American composer Sean Shepherd previewing his new commission for St. Luke's Chamber Ensemble. Mr. Shepherd will share his thoughts, insights and inspirations, and members of OSL will play excerpts from his new composition. The world premiere of Mr. Shepherd's Quintet will take place at OSL's next chamber series program, entitled Spin Paris, March 3 - 8, 2013. This is his first composition for OSL.
