Poets often take it unto themselves to bring their art into street level-harnessing the inchoate yearning of Everyman to reach out and connect to those things that are considered poetry's own: lofty thoughts, great meaning and rare evocative moments. The poet Asty, who has come through to an enviable level of poetic sense, invokes the poet's right for a Promethean moment. Thus, the new collection Poetry on Fire is aptly named, aided and abetted by the poet's early training in French, his Creole daily life and higher education in the United States.

While ballet-themed, performing arts-centric ABC Family series Bunheads starring Broadway headliner Sutton Foster unfortunately has been cancelled by the cable network, creator Amy Sherman-Palladino has created a special send-off video salute spotlighting the dances, dancers and dancing that made the cult series so memorable as a gift to the fans.

This exciting production shows how British music influenced and inspired generations of musicians and dancers. Known for its Ballet Russes heritage, PBDT branches out from their traditional roots to pay homage to the British musical experience with an explosive dance and music retrospective. Nadim Naaman is a London theatre star that has really made the West End his home address. He made his West End debut as Rolf in THE SOUND OF MUSIC at the London Palladium. Since then, he has been the cover Raoul in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, Anatoly in CHESS, Armand in MARGUERITE, and Andrei in THIRTEEN DAYS. He also performed in the cast of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA 25th ANNIVERSARY at the Royal Albert Hall and has sung backing vocals for Elton John, Rod Stewart, Britain's Got Talent, and the Madagascar 3 soundtrack. He is currently playing Charles Clarke in the UK professional premiere of Maury Yeston's TITANIC at the Southwark Playhouse and will be joining the West End cast of ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS in September.
