A friendly reminder that Ring Twice for Miranda, a new play written by Alan Hruska (Laugh It Up, Stare It Down; The Man on Her Mind; New House under Construction) and directed by Rick Lombardo (San Jose Rep Artistic Director from 2008-2014, The Snow Queen, Bill W. and Dr. Bob) will officially open this Sunday, February 12th at 6:30pm at New York City Center Stage II.

Baltimore Center Stage has announced the cast and artistic team for The White Snake.

OBERON, the American Repertory Theater's (A.R.T.) second stage and club theater venue, presents A Ride on the Irish Cream, written and created by Erin Markey and directed by Jordan Fein. Performances begin on Tuesday, February 28 and run through Saturday, March 4 at OBERON, 2 Arrow St, Cambridge.

The Public Theater announced the line-up today for the 2017 Free Shakespeare in the Park season, continuing a 55-year tradition of free theater in Central Park.

Writers Theatre, under the leadership of Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma, continues its 2016/17 season with The Scene, written by Theresa Rebeck and directed by Kimberly Senior.

Stage Kiss by Sarah Ruhl, winner of the 2016 Steinberg Distinguished Playwright Award and a MacArthur 'genius' grant, will be directed by Courtney O'Connor at the Lyric Stage Company of Boston, opening February 26 and running through March 26, 2017. Previews begin February 24. 

Boston Playwrights' Theatre (BPT) continues its 2016-17 season with The Honey Trap by Leo McGann. Running from February 16-26, this new drama is directed by Adam Kassim.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Executive Director Diane Quinn, will present The Night of the Iguana, written by Tennessee Williams and directed by Michael Wilson. Performances begin on Saturday, February 18 and run through Saturday, March 18 at the Loeb Drama Center, 64 Brattle St., Cambridge.

Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) will host acclaimed theatre ensemble Elevator Repair Service and their production of The Select (The Sun Also Rises) at the Lansburgh Theatre (450 7th St NW) from February 18-April 2, 2017.

The New York premiere of Albatross is now onstage at 59E59 Theaters through Sunday, February 12th. This is a gripping one-man show written by Matthew Spangler and Benjamin Evett, directed by Rick Lombardo, and performed by Benjamin Evett.

Huntington Theatre Company's staging of a new adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's classic drama, directed by Melia Bensussen, belongs to Andrea Syglowski and her formidable interpretation of Nora. James Noone's scenic design deserves kudos.

McCarter Theatre Center is starting the New Year with a fresh look at two of literature's most enigmatic and dynamic characters. From January 13 - February 12, the celebrated New York theater company, Bedlam, makes its McCarter Theatre Center debut with their critically- acclaimed stripped down productions of William Shakespeare's Hamlet and George Bernard Shaw's Saint Joan, in rotating repertory.
