Mosaic Theater Company of DC's 'Clamorous Encounters' series about coming-of-age in America continues with Philip Dawkins' groundbreaking comedy-drama CHARM (January 5-29, 2017), under the direction of one of DC's most innovative directors, Natsu Onoda Power (The T Party, Wind Me Up Maria: A Go-Go Musical).

Stoneham Theatre celebrates the holidays with the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Mame, Directed and Choreographed by Elliot Norton and IRNE Award-winner Ilyse Robbins. Featuring song favorites Bosom Buddies and If He Walked Into My Life, this unforgettable classic centers on the eccentric Mame Dennis, who lives a carefree life in 1920s New York until she unexpectedly becomes the guardian to her 10-year-old nephew, Patrick. Rather than change her ways, Mame introduces Patrick to all the wonder of her wild bohemian world while discovering the joy of having a family of her own. Bakersfield Mist by Stephen Sachs, the Fountain's smash hit comedy that went on to see productions around the world including London's West End, will return to the Fountain for a limited 4-week engagement beginning Nov. 19. Sachs will again direct, with Jenny O'Hara (Transparent, The Mindy Project) and Nick Ullett (As the WorldTurns) reprising the roles they created.

Sometimes what you're looking for is right next door. Expectations is a  heartwarming comedy about motherhood, widowhood and neighborhood. The reading is directed by Luna Stage founder and former Artistic Director Jane Mandel and also features Cynthia Fernandez who returns to Luna after her critically acclaimed starring role in the company's 2014 revival of Marisol by Jose Rivera.
