Holly Arsenault Named New Director of External Relations for University of Washington School of Drama

Holly Arsenault - playwright, arts administrator and Gregory Award winner - has been hired as the new Director of External Relations for the School of Drama at the University of Washington. Ms. Arsenault is leaving her position as the Executive Director of TeenTix where she worked for over ten years, helping to shape its mission and giving thousands of Puget Sound teenagers the opportunity to attend arts and cultural events in the Seattle area.

Not Man Apart Physical Theatre Ensemble's AJAX IN IRAQ to Host Post-Show Panel Discussion

Not Man Apart Physical Theatre Ensemble hosts a one-time post-performance talk-back panel discussion after the Sunday, August 7 performance of Ajax in Iraq, with several Veteran organizations. Topics to include: Utilizing classic literature and the arts as tools to understanding the military experience and the veteran community; transitioning from military to civilian life; and how civilians can gain a better understanding of the veteran community.

Not Man Apart Physical Theatre Ensemble with new Co-Artistic Directors Jones Welsh,  Aaron Hendry and Laura Covelli, in association with the Greenway Arts Alliance and Producer Jason Bruffy, present the revival of their thrilling production of Ajax in Iraq, Ellen McLaughlin's edgy action drama set in U.S. occupied Iraq, as the first Resident Company production at the Greenway Court Theatre, opening on July 15 for a five-week run.

UW School of Drama Sets 2016-17 Season

The University of Washington School of Drama, under the leadership of Executive Director Todd London, has announced its 2016-2017 Season. As with their 75th anniversary season, the School of Drama will continue to build artistic partnerships with both local and national artists in an effort to provide more diverse learning opportunities for their students and create a laboratory environment within the School. Guest artists involved this season include: Ali el-Gassier, Marya Sea Kaminski, Jane Jones, Ellen McLaughlin, Qui Nguyen, Ken Rus Schmoll, Daniel Talbott, and Anne Washburn.

PSO Concerts to Feature Works by Sarah Kirkland Snider in May

On Sunday, May 15 at 4 pm, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) presents its Passion & Affection concert performed in honor of Arnold H. Snider, III and featuring Sarah Kirkland Snider's Hiraeth, a multi-media work co-commissioned by the PSO with the North Carolina Symphony.
