Sundance Institute announced today the films selected to screen in the out-of-competition Premieres and Documentary Premieres sections of the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, January 17-27 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah.

'Unplugged' - When technology begins to interrupt their lives Bryan (Andrew Rannells), David (Justin Bartha), Goldie (Georgia King) and Shania (Bebe Wood) reluctantly give up their various electronic devices for one day. Shania, however, takes it one step further by suggesting they give up all modern technology including heated toilet seats. Meanwhile, Rocky (NeNe Leakes) unleashes an online beast when she shows Jane (Ellen Barkin) how to use twitter. Hoping to gain more followers, Jane posts a private video from Bryan which was meant to surprise David On their future wedding day. Shocked at the invasion of privacy, Bryan is appalled until the cast of his show "Sing" tells him what they think of the tweet. THE NEW NORMAL airs on NBC on Tuesday, November 13 at 9:30pm!

Matt Dillon received an Outstanding Achievement in Cinema Award Nov. 2 at the 15th annual Savannah Film Festival, presented by the Savannah College of Art and Design. Dillon was honored for his work in films such as 'City of Ghosts,' 'Crash' and 'The Outsiders.'

On the October 30th episode of NBC's new comedy THE NEW NORMAL, title 'PARA-NEW NORMAL ACTIVITY,' Bryan ('Book of Mormon's Andrew Rannells) is getting into the Halloween spirit by doing what he does every year - decorating the house so that it is the envy of the neighborhood and making his annual trip to the pumpkin patch with his bestie Nicole Richie to spot celebrities.

Ryan Murphy, creator of such television shows as Glee, American Horror Story, and The New Normal, is hard at work on bringing the Tony-winning play The Normal Heart to the big screen. He told the Hollywood Reporter: 'It scares me because I came of age sexually in the early 1980s, and I lost so many friends, and so it means a lot to me. I really want young people to know what it used to be like and how that disease is still with us in a very deadly, horrible way.'

On last night's episode of NBC's new comedy THE NEW NORMAL titled 'THE BIG O.M.G' Broadway's favorite funny lady Jackie Hoffman guest starred as 'Francis', David (Justin Bartha's) mother. In the episode, David is planning a family dinner to tell his mother about the baby, while Bryan (Andrew Rannells) comisserates with Goldie (Georgia King) about mother-in-law woes. NBC Picks Up THE NEW NORMAL, REVOLUTION & GO ON for Full Seasons

On the heels of winning its first premiere week in the A18-49 demographic in nine years, NBC has picked up three of its new fall series - the adventure-drama 'Revolution' and the comedies 'Go On' and 'The New Normal' -- for full-season commitments for the 2012-13 season, it was announced today by Jennifer Salke, President, NBC Entertainment.
