Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art presents Double Agents: Carla Fernández and Pedro Reyes, a two-part exhibition that envisions an alternative future through distinct artistic practices.

On Saturday night in Los Angeles, Billy Porter ("POSE," "American Horror Story: Apocalypse") hosted DIVERSITY x DESIGN, an Emmy season soiree celebrating diversity, inclusion and representation on television. Presented by BOOM Events, the evening benefitted DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS, the national non-profit organization that raises awareness and grants funds to organizations that provide treatment, direct care services, preventive education programs and advocacy for individuals impacted by HIV/AIDS.

Two-time GRAMMY® nominated superstar, singer, songwriter, and performer Kesha performed an intimate concert with Kesha hosted by Hilton Honors in partnership with Live Nation at The Temple House in Miami Beach, FL on Saturday, August 25th. Hilton Honors gives members access to top concerts, private meet-and-greets with chart-topping artists, one-on-one artist experiences, and exclusive concerts available through the Hilton Honors Experiences platform. In partnership with Live Nation, the concert featured an intimate performance by Kesha in Miami, Florida. Previous performances included Bastille, Maren Morris, Beck, Lady Antebellum, Aloe Blacc, OneRepublic, Gary Clark Jr., Kip Moore, Grimes, Tegan and Sara, Halsey, Elle King, Jason Derulo, and Neon Trees.    

It's back to school season all around the country and for most, that means returning to school to continue working towards that degree. I'm sharing some of my biggest tips and suggestions to help get you through your first semester in your new college theatre program.

J.B.J Film and Elevated Films announced today that acclaimed actor Ben Foster has been cast as the lead in director Petr Jakl's historical action drama MEDIEVAL. Jakl wrote the screenplay and will produce alongside Cassian Elwes. The film will be produced with the support of private investors and many Czech state institutions and regions, including the Czech Film Fund, the Prague Film Fund, Creative Europe - Media and others. Principal photography is scheduled to begin this fall in Prague and the surrounding Czech countryside.

Marshmello and Anne-Marie's “FRIENDS” – the lead single from her debut album, Speak Your Mind (Warner Bros. Records) – has been certified platinum by the RIAA. L. Londell McMillan, Chairman of The Source Magazine and Northstar Charities has announced The 5th Annual SOURCE360 Conference and Festival will take place, once again, in Brooklyn, New York, September 6-9. Italian-born, London-based producer, composer and musician Gaudi has remixed experimental and innovative artist Johny Dar's single, 'Scars' set for release on 24th August via Dar The Music. During his decade-spanning career through which he has released more than 16 albums, 250 productions and 90 remixes, Gaudi has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry including The Orb, Bob Marley, Scissor Sisters, and Simple Minds. His eclectic use of cross-genre production has gained him considerable recognition throughout the world as he brings together fans of electronica, dub and reggae. Gaudi has been featured in major publications the world over including Pop Matters, Clash Music, Louder Sound, Louder Than War to name a few and received airplay from the likes of BBC Music 6's Don Letts.

Woods comma Elle descended upon the cultural scene wrapped up as Reese Witherspoon in the 2001 film "Legally Blonde." "Legally Blonde 2" followed shortly after. Bloomington's Artistry  Theater at the Bloomington Center for the Arts opened the Broadway version of the film based on the musical's New York 2007 debut, after which the musical was christened with a Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Musical. The music and lyrics by composed by Neil Benjamin and Laurence O'Keefe, Heather Hach delivered a clever book for the production. In the film and the musical, Elle Woods wins the audiences' hearts with her unabashed love of anything pink and plucky confidence that overflows throughout the story.

Today, Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Garzón-Montano announces that he will be joining forces with the internationally renowned Colombian-American musician Kali Uchis for her Isolation North American Tour. As the main supporting act for the tour, Gabriel will be performing with his new band and will include tracks from his critically acclaimed debut album Jardín - dubbed one of the “Best Albums of 2017” by Billboard and Okayplayer. The LP also received accolades from the likes of Pitchfork, NPR, Entertainment Weekly, and provided Gabriel the opportunity to perform on NPR's Tiny Desk shortly after its release.
