Shakespeare's Globe is delighted to announce the Summer Season 2019. Celebrating and interrogating our 'sceptred isle' through Shakespeare's history plays, a year-long journey begins with Richard II, opening 22 February in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, continuing into the Globe Theatre this summer with Henry IV Parts 1 and 2, and Henry V. The season also includes A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Ben Jonson's Bartholomew Fair, and the return of 2018's As You Like It. Robin Hood tales will form the core of the Read Not Dead series this year, and festivals throughout the summer include Women & Power and Poland is Hamlet. This year's Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank production will be Romeo and Juliet, opening on 28 February, with 20,000 free tickets available to state secondary schools. The Shakespeare's Globe Touring Ensemble will once again present a trio of plays for the audience to choose from: The Comedy of Errors, Pericles, and Twelfth Night.

The productions worth noting come from places big, small and in-between, from composers old as the hills to freshly minted or somewhere in between (likewise the performers), from traditional or boldly modern to simply stand up and sing.
Award-winning multidisciplinary designer and filmmaker Francesca Molteni is the link between two events taking place on January 21 and 22, 2019 presented by the Istituto Italiano di Cultura Toronto (IIC). One of Wallpaper Magazine's "favourite enterprising design women in Milan," Francesca Molteni is the scion of the Molteni furniture empire and founder of the creative lab Muse Factory of Projects. Her film Volevo essere Walt Disney (I wanted to be Walt Disney), an homage to design and architecture giant Alessandro Mendini, will screened at the Design Exchange on January 21 at 6:30 PM. Molteni's curatorial eye, together with that of regular collaborator Maria Cristina Didero, is also behind From A to Zaven, an exhibition by Venice-based design studio Zaven that opens January 22 at 6:30 PM at the IIC. Independent design curator Maria Cristina Didero is known for her expertise in Italian Radical design and has been dubbed "Milan's coolest curator" by Architectural Digest USA.
Independent R&B artist, Coline Creuzot knows love is not a one-way street in her new video 'Dead End'. The Houston native, who has collaborated with the likes of rapper Paul Wall and written for Kelly Rowland, is found singing on a rooftop against a Los Angeles skyline with a three-piece musical ensemble. The Motown influenced record was written by Coline and produced by Troy 'R8dio' Johnson (Solange, Chris Brown). Frequent collaborators Crime City Films shot the visual for 'Dead End'.
Billy Stritch recently sailed from his usual NYC docks at The Carlyle and Birdland and was welcomed by hundreds of music connoisseurs on the Shores of Velencia and Frenchman's Creek Beach Club in Florida. The show at Velencia Shores was headlined,'Billy Stritch & Friends' and the super singer friends that Billy brought along were Deborah Silver, Emmanuelle Adda and Josh Young.
