Chris Noth will reprise the role of 'Mr. Big' in the Max Original series AND JUST LIKE THAT... This new chapter of the groundbreaking HBO series 'Sex and the City' follows 'Carrie' (Sarah Jessica Parker), 'Miranda' (Cynthia Nixon) and 'Charlotte' (Kristin Davis) as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s. The ten-episode, half-hour series is scheduled to begin production in New York this summer.

Up-and-coming director Elizabeth Wood's critically acclaimed, Brooklyn-set debut feature film White Girl tells the frenetic tale of l'amour fou between a college girl (Morgan Saylor of “Homeland”) and her drug dealer boyfriend (Brian 'Sene' Marc), as she goes to extremes to get him out of jail.

Cantori New York to Stage U.S. Premiere of Dame Ethel Smyth's THE PRISON

On May 14 & 15, Cantori New York, an award winning chamber choir celebrating its 31st season, will perform the U.S. Premiere of 'The Prison', written in 1930 by feminist composer Dame Ethel Smyth. Mark Shapiro, Artistic Director, will conduct the piece. A 'vocal symphony' in one act for choir, soloists, piano and bugle, with libretto by H.B. Brewster, 'The Prison' is a unique and complex philosophical drama - a dialogue between a man and his soul. The program will also include Brahms' Marienlieder song cycle.

Sundance Sets 2016 Lineup of U.S., World Competition Films

Offering a first look at the year ahead in independent film, culture and new ideas, Sundance Institute announced today the 65 films selected for the U.S. Competition, World Competition and out-of-competition NEXT category set to premiere at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival, January 21-31 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah. Films that have premiered in these sections include Beasts of the Southern Wild, Fruitvale Station,Whiplash, Blackfish, The September Issue, The Cove, An Education, Animal Kingdom, Precious, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night, Obvious Child, Tangerine and Escape from Tomorrow.

Starz's Limited Series THE WHITE QUEEN to Premiere 8/10

Starz announced today 'The White Queen,' adapted from Phillipa Gregory's best-selling novels based on England's War of the Roses (also known as The Cousins' War) will premiere on STARZ in the U.S. on Saturday, August 10th at 9pm ET/PT, following the Friday night finale of the second season of 'Magic City.'
